Making A-Z Street Mapping available to retailers anywhere

A press release on the re-launching of the 9 Sheet Master Plans of London indicating the world wide availability of our map products.

If you want to purchase an A-Z Wall Map of your favourite UK destination but live in Auckland, New Zealand you no longer need to wait for the slow post boat or pay huge fees to cover our distribution costs. Instead, working with our technology partners MapSherpa we now offer Print on Demand!

World
Even if you live on the other side of the world, Print on Demand makes it viable to buy our products in a retailer near you.

Print on Demand (POD) is a printing technology and business process where printed products are stored digitally and not printed until an order has been received.

How does POD work?

In a straightforward way:
• We provide digital versions of our print products.
• Make the files available to retailers (all you need is an internet connection and a printer) via MapSherpa.
• Retailer prints from digital files when purchased.

This simple yet effective process means a local retailer in Edinburgh, can sell an Australian publishers maps without the need to purchase a store of paper maps, have them delivered halfway across the world and stockpiled until sold. Rather, the Edinburgh retailer can access the publishers digital files securely on the MapSherpa system upon purchase when demand, well, demands it.
Simple, right?

A-Z Maps will be adding to our Print on Demand offering beyond the 9 Sheet Master Plans of London and look forward to announcing these additions with MapSherpa over the coming months.
